Παραστάς und προμετώπιον in den Inschriften von Amyzon

Amyzon, Temple inscriptions, antae, παραστάς, προμετώπιον.Abstract
The article examines the meaning of two expressions, παραστάς and προμετώπιον, and argues that in the case of the inscriptions of Amyzon pertaining to the temple of Artemis and Apollo, προμετώπιον was used to denote the front, while παραστάς refered to the sides of the antae. However, this observation cannot be generalized due to the singularity of the term προμετώπιον (hitherto only attested in Amyzon) and the varying use of παραστάς in case of other temples in Asia minor.
